While down at Grandpa and Grandma Wilde's, Grandpa came across what Adahleigh and Charles would deem a great find!
It was so spectacular that it had Charles full attention.
The kid just couldn't get enough of it. If your thinking its the pot it isn't, but it does fit inside.
That's right it's a tarantula. We let the kids look at it for awhile since it was pretty docile. Charles was obviously more into than Adahleigh.
We had to keep stopping him from reaching in and grabbing it; he thought it was perfectly reasonable to reach in and grab it. It doesn't help that he has no fear of any animal and that's always his first reaction, to reach out and grab it.
Adahleigh thought that it looked a little famished and needed to eat, so she gave it grass (since everyone knows tarantulas eat grass). As you can see it was fairly large.
After all the harassment the tarantula received we let it wonder off on its own and enjoy the rest of it's day.
