Almost every winter Grandpa Wilde has a bunch of cows he has to feed every night. Grandpa invited us to tag along one night. Adahleigh had been looking forward to grandpa getting home all day.
Grandpa, Charles, and Adahleigh after feeding the cows!
Adahleigh sitting and watching the cows. She was sitting on a mini tool box that makes a great seat for little kids. (I know because thats where i spent my younger days riding with dad as he did the farm work.) I'm glad my kids get to experience some of the things i did growing up on the farm.
Charles enjoying watching the cows. He lost interest only minutes later and began seeing how many buttons he could get his little hands on inside the tractor. Last year adahleigh got to go and sit on the trailer with her dad while grandpa fed the cows and i drove the tractor. This year they both got stuck in the cab because i was driving and grandpa had to feed the cows.

Charles didn't know if he liked getting so close to a cow.
The cows waiting to eat.
Playing on the trailer after all the hay had been feed. Adahleigh enjoyed picking up all the loose pieces still on the trailer and throwing them off the edge saying "here cows"! On the way back to the house the rocking of the tractor rocked poor little charles right to sleep. We enjoyed feeding the cows with grandpa. A few days later Adahleigh kept asking me if she could go and feed the cows with grandpa except only days before the cows were rounded up and sent home so they could have there babies.
We have enjoyed what seems like the last two weeks at Grandpas and Grandmas house. We had alot of fun hanging out and playing!
