Whats new with adahleigh!!!

She now can drink the little juice boxes. The only thing you have to do is put the straw back in the whole after she pulls in out!!


Her being helpful with daddy again. She is getting so tall. (Yes adam still has his dumb bugs, there almost gone cuz i made him get rid of them, but as you can see he keeps putting it off and he wont let me get rid of them.) (He even had the nerve to ask me if he could get different ones!!!)

She loves playing with her ducks lately she puts them around her neck and just walks around while they hang there. Yes she is sitting in the shower it is one of her favorite places to play!!!! She can also help herself in and out of the bath tub!!!

I love this picture! This is a typical sunday morning at our house. Except adahleigh is usually in her bed. Its eight o'clock and church starts at 8:30.

Family Home Evening!

Last monday night for family home evening we went to the city swimming pool to take adahleigh swimming! She played in the water for a min, but for the most part she walked around on the cement. She was shivering cuz it was a little chilly! Here are some pictures from her swimming fun!

This is of her walking. She started back at me (im in the orange shorts and black swimsuit the two people standing on the edge of the pool in the top left corner. If you blow up the picture and look close you can see the path she took from me to where she is in the picture. Just follow her little footprints!

She has gotten very good at walking! She walks almost anywhere now!

Adahleigh and Hippo!

The hippo is suppose to be used for pushing to help them walk, but she does not like that. So the other day this is how i found her playing with it!

She started off by standing in it.....

Then she decided to sit down.....

Then in the process of trying to get up she fell back even farther and was stuck......

So then this is what she did......

Dumb Bumble Bees!

Yesterday Adam and I went over to visit our friends who just lived a couple doors down. I took adahleigh over to play on there swing set. At first i didn't even notice them! But all the sudden adahleigh screamed and tried to jump out of my arms. She screamed for a couple minutes. All the sudden the bees started flying around me so i ran and gave her to adam and told him i think she had been stung. He started looking over her and finally found it on her leg. The next thing he told me to do was get some mud. Needless to say the neighbors now have a whole in there garden and a pile a mud in the swimming pool. Once we got the mud on she felt right to sleep. (She had only had a ten minute nap all day!) I took her home and let her rest, she slept for almost an hour and when she woke up. She was as good as new. The mud came off and they only thing there was a little red dot!

Here is a picture of her with mud on her leg. I think we got lucky by her sleeping. She would have pulled the mud off if she had been awake! Adahleigh and I are so grateful we have adam in our lives. He is always so calm and knows what to do when in a crisis. Yes i will be honest i was frantic the second she started screaming, adam had to keep telling me she will be fine!

*10 Months*

Today Adahleigh is 10 months old! She has grown up so fast exspecially in the last few months. Just a couple days ago she went to the doctors and here is what she measured at!
Height: 29 3/4" (95th percent)
Weight: 20 Lbs (50 percent)
Head: 18 1/2" (Her head was the reason she actually had this appoitment, they thought it had grown to much last time she was in.....her doctor that seen her that time was out of the country this time so she had to see another doctor. This doctor said they think they just got her in the middle of a growth spurt last time and everything seems to fine!!!)

Here are a few of her new favorite things:
#1 She says mama now!
#2 She is almost walking (she does not like to hold onto furniture anymore she has to try to cross the room herself. She is
getting really good though) She can walk the length of the hallway about ten steps!
#3 She still loves little kids she just does not like to share her toys with them.
#4 She still loves to eat everything! Every once in awhile she will spit something out!
#5 I have three teeth and waiting for the fourth to pop through!
