We headed out to Oregon on the 30th to visit with Adam's family. We left at 2 a.m., so we could get most of the road covered while the little ones were sleeping. They ended up traveling really well. They were awake maybe a total of 4 hours, but with a couple stops made along the way they were content to sit and play while in their car seats. Adahleigh has gotten to be pretty funny now that she's talking. When she decides that she's has had too much time in her car seat she tells us that she is stuck, she must think we'll free her when she says this.
On the way we stopped for an hour at the Bonneville fish hatchery to see the rainbow trout and sturgeon that they have there in their viewing ponds. They raise other types of fish to stock river and lakes, but it was the wrong time of year to see any of the other fish. Adahleigh enjoyed pointing out the fish and feeding the trout. Charles even hitched a ride on a trout.
