Saturday we took everyone for a day out of the house. First, we went to the movies at ISU to see Open Season 2. We figured Adahleigh is old enough to sit through one and Charles is young enough that he won't make a big fuss. We ended up getting pretty lucky with that one. Adahleigh was asleep after about the first half an hour and woke up to catch the last half and hour. Charles slept for all but the last twenty minutes in which he decided he was a little hungry, so he got nursed during the movie. We also picked up a surround sound system that Adam won from the school bookstore in a drawing.
We then went to to the library to pick up some books to read, Adahleigh really loves having books read to her and flipping through them herself, and our public library has a decent collection of toddler friendly books. They also had one of those Koda the Triceratops. Adahleigh thought it was pretty cool and went to touch it and it moved. It wasn't very cool then. She would get close to look but wouldn't touch no matter what, even with other kids playing on it.
