We have had a very busy week lately. New Years Day we had the pleasure of being blessed with a visit from Oliver. Adahleigh really enjoyed having one more person around that would play with her and tease her, she did wish that he would've been a little more awake while he was here. Oliver ended up staying until Sunday evening (it will amaze those that know him that he actually left at a decent hour instead of the usual late night drives where he usually has to stop and sleep on the side of the road to make a full trip anywhere). He just missed the arrival of Charles LaVard (for those outside of the calling circle) on Jan. 5th at 5:45 a.m.. He came in at 7lbs. 7oz. and 20.5 in. long. He has long fingers and toes just like his big sister, but got lucky and didn't get her giant feet; instead he ended up with large ears that luckily don't stick out. Labor didn't go too bad for Ashley. She was abruptly awoken at 12:30 a.m. by contractions that were 2 min apart and lasted about 30sec., once again she wasn't too keen on going to the hospital because of the fear of being sent home. We ended up taking Adahleigh to our friend's (Jacob and Anne) house. She enjoyed waking up there and being able to play with her friend Jacoby until grandma wilde picked her up and brought her to meet baby brother!

Adahleigh found the switches for the hospital bed and then took full control of it from there.

Charles has decided that he already likes to sleep with dad at night.

Adahleigh already is loving being a big sister and interacting with Charles.

Charles ready and excited to go home finally.
